In this webinar, Dorothy Paredes, a cancer survivor and financial assistance advocate, pulls back the curtain on financial toxicity and shows you how to get ahead of it. Rather than waiting until you’re in crisis, Dorothy teaches you how to start addressing finances on day one of diagnosis.

She walks through the hidden costs nobody anticipates and explains who to talk to from day one. She also shares the resources and strategies that actually work:

  • Financial navigators and social workers at your cancer center
  • Nonprofits and assistance programs (housing, medical, insurance, transportation, food)
  • Practical tools like payment plans, appeals, and apps that help friends contribute

Most importantly, she normalizes the conversation and shows you that you don’t have to figure this out alone.

For anyone facing a cancer diagnosis, this webinar offers practical, compassionate guidance on the financial side of treatment that matters far more than most people realize.
