Safety and precautions with use during chemo/radiotherapy
Recommendation from Barbara MacDonald, ND, to clinicians with regard to vitamin C during chemotherapy or radiation: “If you are uncomfortable supplementing your patient with antioxidants given the continuing controversy, you can, at the very least, provide your patient with specific dietary antioxidant recommendations, encourage green tea consumption and/or use of whole-food based antioxidants.”1MacDonald B.
